AUGUSTA, Ga. (April 24, 2017) – Augusta Sportswear Group (ASG) has announced the launch of an innovative new free freight program that not only offers free freight over $200, but also several other major benefits. These benefits either reduce costs or simplify the ordering process for customers. Titled the Fair and Simple Program, it launches April 24 for all customers.
“We’re excited to launch the most innovative freight and pricing program in our history. We heard our customers loud and clear. They wanted a free freight program. But, we didn’t want to stop there. Our goal was to make ASG the easiest company in the industry to do business with, so we looked at everything from pricing to oversize charges. We overhauled everything,” stated Derek Ernst, ASG’s Senior Vice President of Marketing and Merchandising.
Under the new freight program, any customer that orders more than $200 from ASG will receive free freight on that order. Orders below $100 will have a flat rate charge of only $10 and orders between $100 and $200 will have a flat rate charge of $15.
In addition to the new freight terms, the full set of benefits under the Fair and Simple Program include:
- Free freight on orders over $200
- Flat rate pricing on orders under $200 so customers always know the cost
- All orders over $3,000 receive an additional discount of 5% across the entire order
- All handling fees have been eliminated
- All oversize charges have been reduced and standardized at $1, no matter the size or style
Dave Elliott, the Chief Executive Officer at ASG, summed it up; “We’ve lowered costs across the board for our customers and eliminated all of the ordering headaches. Fair and simple. That’s what our customers deserve and we believe that’s what we delivered.”
